Chef Dane’s in the Movies!
On August 9th we had a crew of Santa Clara University MBA students film an independent
movie here at Chef Dane’s. Directed by DB Cheng (“So Beauty” 2004), “The Red Door”
is a romantic comedy that will be submitted to the Sundance and Asian American film festivals.
Starring James Lontayao as a man following his dream of becoming a chef, the movie hilariously
ends at Chef Dane’s where our very own Dane stars as an Iron Chef type who brutally evaluates
this man upon his graduation from the Chef’s Academy. We’ll keep you posted on it’s release!
